Stop by the Anvil Organic booth and bring two(2) old t-shirts and receive one (1) new Anvil Organic Cotton t-shirt. All of the old t-shirts collected will be used to create ARCH Paper, a beautiful, archival, 100% cotton text- and cover-weight paper made from recycled clothing and textiles.
In addition, Anvil will donate one (1) new Anvil Organic Cotton t-shirt to the Berkeley Men's and Women's Homeless shelter for the first 500 PLAYgreen Festival attendees that participate in the program!

The first 300 PLAYgreen participants to exchange a recyclable can or bottle at the event will receive a branded PLAYgreen. Live Positively. 16 oz stainless steel tumbler. In addition, all participants who recycle during the event will receive drive-back coupon at selected Cal Dining convenient store locations for selected Coca Cola products.

Presented by Cal Student Group BARE.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn how to use old t-shirts to create a new repurposed wardrobe.

DEMO SCHEDULE
- 11 AM - Anna Zulaica, an aspiring chef in the process of starting a catering company. Will demonstrate how to make a Spring Salad tossed in Arugula Dressing.
- 12 PM - Nathan Downs, Executive Chef to the Chancellor of UC Berkeley. Will demonstrate how to make a Cambodian Caramel Dipping Sauce.
- 1 PM - Shikha Kaiwar, Assistant baker from Citizen Cake in San Francisco, CA. Will demonstrate how to make a Raspberry Cream Tiramisu.
- 3 PM – Devon Boison, Executive Chef of Spenger’s Fresh Fish Grotto. Demo dish TBA.
Berkeley’s Kitchen is a food network that aims to inspire the Berkeley community and the Greater Bay Area to cook more and eat more, but of course with a delicious twist. Our main mission is to provide our community affordable food education in cooking and other culinary forms, and promote diverse ethnic cuisines while emphasizing sustainable foods.

Featuring sustainable food samples from the following Bay Area Restaurants. Cost is $4 to sample treats from all participating restaurants.
