Green Shorts Film Competition and Festival
- Plot
- All entries must showcase how individuals or groups of people living in the Bay Area can play, work, and live a greener lifestyle. Selected films must inspire and compel the audience. Original work only please.
- Film Makers
- The competition is open to all digital film makers. Individual and group entries permitted.
- Length
- Total running time not to exceed three minutes. Does not include credits.
- Genre
- All genres of film making welcomed including but not limited to: drama, comedy, action, animation, and documentary.
- Rating
- All entries must qualify as a General Audience "G" rating
- Props
- The words PLAYgreen must creatively appear throughout the production.
- How to Enter
- All entries must be submitted by February 9th. See Submission Guidelines for details.

- Selection and Screening
- A panel of Judges will select the top ten (10) film makers that will be showcased at a live screening at the PLAYgreen Festival on February 20th and on the Cal Recreational Sports YouTube channel by February 13th. The top five (5) finalists will be awarded prize packages donated from Bay Area partners.
